Hi friends,

I am Karthik, the person Mr/Ms Pie was referring as iiitb employee

I have nothing to reply Mr/Ms Pie rather than pity on him/her. He/She don’t know what IIITB is and who Prof. Sadagopan is. I don’t have any clue of your gender

Coming to point. I have no hard feelings against Vasu. The issue which he has raised is valid. He is accusing college “Having decided the selection criteria, why are you calling people who have not satisfied that criteria to interview and waste their time?” Very much valid.

FYI, i have raised this issue to the management. I don’t know whether they don’t have reply or they don’t wish to reply. I can only raise the issue.

And thanks to friends who have defended for me.

hello friends,
At iiitb, they check your technical knowledge, academic record(whether u r consistent or not),communication skill,
other scores.Because in the campus there will be alot of pressure on u of your projects,assignments,demos…..,so that
u can cope up with the pressure.They give a chance to 600 odd people to show their capability,if you r capable and are in 120-140 then u will definitely get a seat.If some one is good in technical skill and have a consistent academic record then why not they prefer him.
IIIT-B is among top research institutes of india.

But not getting a seat there, does not mean u r not capable of.Try other institutes definitely u will get a seat and can do better in your life.

U ve took lot of pain to write something without actually going through the blog or posts.

Its simple

Show me 15 below 70% students withouth GATE score who are in , i wll apologise and wil delete this block.

Ok i think u would find 15 out of 200 a pretty big num so

show atleast 10 below 70% and who are in i will delete this.

Basically they jus blindly took with 70%. there is no doubt in it. I challenge u.

Srry dude, i guess u cant face d competition.
I dont knw who told u thy will be taking 70%+ students.
But i thing getting 70%+ is nt big deal fr gud student and ys 70% critereria is nt the only criteria.
y cant u understand thy r nt calling 600 ppl fr rejecting or taking ur money. thy r testing u thru interviews.
If u rejected tht means u r nt competent enough thn others simply.
