I ve been recently to Prasads on Jan first 2009. we actually thought of going to a movie at 7 in the evening not at all sure of getting tickets to any of the movies ,but we still just gave a try as it is just 15 mins drive from our place(on a moderate traffic day) .
As usual we didnt have the tickets for any of the movies and even much worse they have been booked for the next 3 days also.
Then we ve been to the 4d Virtual Theater which boasts it self as the first of its kind in south India in the first floor.
The ticket costs Rs 100 for 15 minutes of show(actually 11 mins, i ve set the timer). The movie name is Oceanic jungle , and there are some creepy shark and fish pictures on the posters outside the FX room. Expecting some real nice thrilling and spine chilling experience we went into it excitedly.
As usual he gave the 3d glasses and they really gave the ultimate buffon look on our faces, which we couldnt stop laughing ta each other. Before we could stop our banter and laughs , the 4D ride started.
The Movie started with some Seat massage(actually the person at ticket counter promised some real life thrilling movements). But its just like a massage seat. They was constant water gushing on us as we see in the saloons before the hair cut. There was a 5 mins car chase which bored us to the hell for the first 5 mins.
Then the real ride started we were taken into a Ocean deep under water and we are anxiously waiting for something thrilling and horrifying to happen on the screen to satisfy our horrophilic(Dont serach it in the dictionary u may not find it, i meant to satisfy or horror liking senes) sense.
Yes there was a very very very big water horse on the screen all of a sudden ,and the 4d effect has shows what it really is . Its a very big monster and it suddenly rose form the water and gave a very realistic effect ,which makes us feel that it fell on us.Every one was really terrified and i even felt like closing my eyes which i never do even in one of the most horrifying horro movies also .Yeah still i didnt close my eyes.
But thats it thats the end, it ended there.
100 rupess for that one horrifying movement of 5 seconds, but i still feel thats worth it.
